What do you see?
By Fr. James Smith April 4, 2021
Behold. The door to the tomb has been rolled aside and it is empty. Let us rejoice and be glad. What a confusing time it must have been for Mary and the Apostles that first Easter Sunday. What we celebrate most enthusiastically now must have caused great distress back then. Where was the body of Jesus? Why was He taken? Where is He now? In modern times, how can we take times of distress and interpret them as a celebration. It takes a refocusing of the mind... to see beyond the current circumstance. Those who know me well know I'm fond of saying "Let go. Let God." Part of this is to understand that you have a wonderful place in God's plan. Even though parts of your journey may be troublesome the destination is worthwhile.

Engage Authentically

We are all members of the community.  To engage and love the community is to engage and love oneself.  Help make the world a better place, one relationship at a time. Make time for your neighbors!

Be

Church

The church is not our building. We are the church. You build the church when you engage in the discipleship of others.
